High Voltage Operational Training

We provide on site training for the management and operation of High Voltage systems. Emphasis is on practical training coupled with classroom appreciation of electrical theory, system protection and associated system equipment. The training meets the employer's obligations under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and I.S EN 50110-1:2013. Courses are developed individually for the on-site equipment and system. The course syllabus is tailored to meet the customer's requirements and topics included are safety, operation of the system, protection systems and management of the system under normal and fault conditions. Safety and communications procedures based on best industry practice and complying with current Irish and EU legislation are introduced during the course.

Low Voltage Electrical Safety Awareness.

This course provides guidance on working safely on low voltage (< 1,000 Volts) electrical equipment & systems in accordance with Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, Part 3: Electricity and ETCI/ET206. Electric shock, electric arc flash and isolation of hazardous energies (Lock Out/Tag Out) are all part of the course syllabus.
